The ladies of Good Shepherd gathered for a sweet getaway on Lake Norman this past weekend. Though we usually head to North Myrtle beach for our annual retreat, this year’s local retreat made it possible for women to either enjoy a full weekend’s respite or jump in on the retreat happenings as their weekend schedules…

We had a great time gathering with Bishop David Bryan and some Anglican clergy from around Charlotte for feasting, fellowship, and prayer.

We had a blast serving free Land of a Thousand Hills coffee at Christmas in Davidson. Thanks so much for everyone who helped make it happen – especially Lucy Albert for tirelessly organizing, Ken Baezsler for keeping the coffee flowing, and of course the talented Frank Albert for the excellent musical accompaniment.
